Integrating AI into Clinical Practice and Clinicians into AI

AI is at the forefront of medicine. Not only does AI make clinical medicine more efficient by accelerating workflows; it also renders medicine more effective by better addressing the patient’s needs. However, while there is an increasing acceptance of the relevance of AI in medical practice, most practicing physicians are under-informed about the benefits and limitations of modern AI applications. This gap, arising from a lack of education, is unsurprising given the recent acceleration of innovation in AI.

As a consequence, key decision-makers and front-line physicians are left in an uncertain situation regarding new technologies. This in turn appears to lead to reluctance and resistance in adoption. In response to this, the educational program aims to foster understanding of AI-driven technologies.
