Recent advances in intraoperative flat-panel imaging, including high-resolution time-resolved 3D imaging, perfusion acquisitions, fusion imaging and live overlays, provide valuable new diagnostic information. Their effective use and interpretation require both experience and a solid evidence-based foundation. As many of these techniques are still emerging, the congress aims to bring together leading researchers, support the adoption of advanced imaging modalities, and foster future research in collaboration with industry partners. Following the successful first edition in Tours, France, in 2025, the second edition will take place in Bern at the beginning of winter, offering a stimulating setting for scientific exchange, advanced training and collaboration.
