Clinical and Translational Neuroscience

The Journal Clinical and Translation Neuroscience (CTN) is an open access, peer-reviewed journal publishing transdisciplinary research. It is the response to the urge to bridge clinical and basic neuroscience and the different clinical neuro-disciplines.

The journal‘s mission is to provide neuroscientists with outstanding articles that enhance patient care, education, and professionalism. As of July 1st 2021, the CTN Journal is published by MDPI, based in Basel.

  • Open Access:  free for readers, with article processing charges (APC) paid by authors or their institutions.
  • High Visibility: indexed within ESCI (Web of Science), EBSCO, and other databases.
  • Rapid Publication: manuscripts are peer-reviewed and a first decision is provided to authors approximately 36.7 days after submission; acceptance to publication is undertaken in 4 days (median values for papers published in this journal in the first half of 2024).
  • Recognition of Reviewers: APC discount vouchers, optional signed peer review, and reviewer names published annually in the journal.
